    Classic Automotive Group hired Cerami Creative as the agency of record for their Nissan store. Services provided included media buying; all creative services; and digital marketing, including SEO and pay-per-click (PPC), social website marketing, retargeting, e-mail marketing, and inbound marketing. Classic Automotive Group informed Cerami Creative that they expected our agency to increase sales, despite the fact that they slashed the monthly advertising budget by 65 percent upon hiring our company.

    The strategy was to create a significant boost to the client’s “Tom Say Yes” brand, using distinct audio and visual components for traditional advertising supported by a comprehensive digital marketing campaign. A custom jingle was created and actors were hired for the television commercial as the “Tom Says Yes” singers.

    The TV spot was meant to be a whimsical approach that was distinct from the commodity and institutional ads that dominate automotive retail advertising. The results were dramatic and immediate (see below). One of the TV spots, posted on YouTube, resulted in more than 8,200 organic views in fewer than nine months, a response unprecedented in local auto TV advertising. Both TV spots won Telly Awards, which honor excellence in local and regional television advertising, for their creative and production components.

    • Year to Year Sales: +55%. Highest YTY Nissan sales increase in the Mid Atlantic region. Increased local market share from 35% to 69%.

    Digital Results:

    • Client canceled ALL 3rd party referral sites (AutoTrader.com; Cars.com, KBB.com, etc)
    • Grew leads by 42% in 5 months (source: CRM)
    • Grew appointments by 54% in 5 months (source: CRM)
